Who? Simon LeBon is the singer of Duran Duran. And Duran Duran is quite possibly my most favorite band of all time. I know, I know…I don’t sound cool to a lot of you, but I also listen to what the “kids listen to”, The Mars Volta, MGMT, and other stuff. But, my longtime fave is Duran Duran. They may not top the charts with every album they put out, but they seem like they are always having fun and genuinely enjoy what they’re doing and I like that. A Librarian friend recommended I read your blog today - I am a Duran Duran fan (still :) too! I saw them one year ago in Dallas and New Orleans and this year in Atlanta, on May 17 and they are just as fun, entertaining and talented as they have always been. Simon even commented that he knew that some of the audience members "had been around a really long time" and he liked that. I have a fabulous picture of Simon from the concert as my computer wallpaper! So...from one Librarian to another...Durannies rule!!!!
