Oscar-winning novels

No doubt you've heard by now that No Country for Old Men won the Oscar for Best Picture at this year's Academy Awards. The movie is based on Cormac McCarthy's novel by the same name, which is a hot item at APL right now. Over the years, quite a few novels have inspired Best Pictures. just saw no country for old men; it's unassumingly unconventional and yet (thankfully) never over the top... all in all the Coen brothers deserve their Oscars, well done indeed.
