CuriousOrange, the Monday blogger who frequently writes about Latin America, is out sick today, but I know he would want me to write about Mercedes Sosa, the beloved folk singer from Argentina, who died this weekend. The Library has many of her recordings, and you just need to watch a video of her singing the lullaby, Duerme, Negrito, to make you want to listen to them all.
